Greetings everyone,
Thank you for signing up for the Mission Sukh newsletter and for those who are readers of my personal newsletter, welcome back. This is a newsletter that is solely focused on the work here at Mission Sukh and to spread positivity. This newsletter is also a product of Mission Sukh, so this is not something small but rather something big with many goals to accomplish on the way. Mission Sukh started out as a hackathon project at Kent State University’s annual hackathon, Kent Hack Enough. That one hackathon project led me on a mission to solve various problems in the Mental Health space. Ever since, Mission Sukh has a created a discord community, a virtual assistant, a google assistant app that is compatible with every android device or anything that runs google assistant and many more. The newsletter aims to provide content that will make one more happier, positive and optimistic. My goals with this newsletter are very big and I look forward to have a million readers and a million users by the end of this year(an ambitious goal but in order to make it big, one needs to set bigger goals).
With that said, I will be starting my newsletter from the next post. And no, I am not procrastinating(or I might be). But I will do share a thought that I believe will resonate with most of you all. With lockdowns in place, most of us are stuck at home either working from home or attending university with remote instructions. And when we are free, we might either do what we love to kill time(I read a book or just watch something on Netflix). All that is great and it helps us to cope up with the situation. But for me, I personally see this as a moment where the busy family can come back together as one. Dinner together, watching that movie together as one family, the elderly sharing their stories and much more. This is a perfect moment to bond and to be a happy family.
And for those who are alone, just do what you love. Watch Netflix or whatever streaming platform you have. Do whatever you can to be happy at this time. And we will get through this phase. And while taking all the pre-cautions and staying at home, it is also important that we maintain our mental health and be happy. Be happy, celebrate your life and do whatever you can to make this quarantine a happy experience. And I to any doctors, nurses, police officers, delivery folks, and other people who are working at this time, you have my salute. With that said, I will be posting more in the upcoming newsletters and want people reading this to know something important. NO MATTER WHAT, MISSION SUKH IS HERE FOR YOU 24x7. WE ARE ON A MISSION TO MAKE THIS WORLD A HAPPIER PLACE. (More updates on other humanitarian and social-impact projects coming soon ; ) ).
